After years of visiting Scotland’s whisky distilleries, I began to feel something was missing. Each distillery is steeped in history and tradition, and standing inside those unique buildings, listening to the stories, and sampling their craftsmanship always left me wanting more. But after a few drams, it’s easy to forget the finer details of the experience. That sparked a question: we celebrate climbing all the Munros – why not celebrate visiting all of Scotland’s Single Malt distilleries too?

From that idea, and after two years of design, the Whisky Passport was born – with our first batch launching in 2025. More than just a keepsake, the Passport is designed to inspire you to get out and explore Scotland. You might not plan to visit the Isle of Raasay or the Ardnamurchan Peninsula, but in chasing down a distillery there, you may just discover the beauty and charm of Scotland’s quieter corners.
